I am experienced in diagnosing and managing a spectrum of rheumatological conditions from early diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis and their long-term management, conditions such as gout and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, soft tissue disorders, chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.

As part of my interest in managing inflammatory arthritis, I completed extensive training in musculoskeletal ultrasound at Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) level. I helped establish the ultrasound clinic within my rheumatology department at Haywood Hospital (Stoke on Trent) to help with the early detection of joint inflammation in inflammatory arthritis patients as well as monitoring disease in

patients established on treatment.
