What is RTT®?

Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT) is a hybrid form of therapy that was pioneered by world renowned therapist, Marisa Peer. It is a combination of the most beneficial aspects of therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.

As the name suggests RTT® is designed to deliver rapid, highly effective permanent results as opposed to traditional forms of therapy whereby individuals may find themselves undergoing for several months or years and even then may not get the dramatic life changing results they desire. Many issues addressed with RTT® can often be resolved within 1-3 sessions depending on how complex the underlying issue is.

What issues can RTT help with?

These are many of the issues that can be treated with Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). If you have an issue not listed here please do still get in touch to find out if RTT could help you:

  • Anxiety
  • Low confidence
  • Low self-esteem
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Panic attacks
  • Depression
  • Performance anxiety

  • Weight issues
  • Eating disorders
  • Relationship issues
  • Break bad habits
  • Overcoming fear and phobias
  • Resolve past trauma

How does RTT® work?

RTT® works by accessing the subconscious mind in identifying the root causes that have contributed to the issue. In many cases these root causes can go back to scenes from childhood. Once the scenes identified as the root cause have been identified the tools and techniques used in RTT® enable the client to identify the feelings attached to the root cause and what negative and destructive beliefs this may have created about themselves. By gaining an understanding of the root cause it is then possible to reprogramme the mind by erasing, eradicating and eliminating the issues at their core.

Your mind is hardwired to respond to the words you tell it and the pictures you create and so by accessing the subconscious mind with RTT® your mind can be reprogrammed to flip all the negative limiting beliefs into more positive empowering ones and rewire your mind towards achieving what you want.

Is RTT® the same as hypnotherapy?

Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) encompasses many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy which are known to produce transformative results for clients. With the RTT® approach the tools and techniques used go beyond conventional hypnotherapy as explained previously under how does RTT® work.

RTT® does not rely solely on positive reinforcement/ affirmations that are planted into the subconscious. The tools and techniques used within RTT® therapy work incredibly effectively in getting to the root cause of an issue and ultimately giving clients a deep understanding of the underlying beliefs related to their issue which has such a transformative power in achieving dramatic long lasting results.

What happens before the RTT® session?

Before your first session I will send you an online form to complete with some initial information about you, your medical history and the key issue you would like to address. I may arrange a FREE initial introductory call to discuss things in more detail with you.

What happens during the RTT® session?

An RTT® session can last up to 2 hours. I conduct most sessions online via zoom which often suits clients better being in a relaxed hypnotic state from the comfort of their home, especially if they are feeling rather tired and sleepy after the session. If you are local to Cheshire, UK and happy to travel then in-person sessions can be arranged too.

We will spend the first 15-20 minutes of the session discussing the issue you want to address with RTT® and getting clear on what you want your life to be like without this issue.

We will then proceed with the hypnosis using Marisa Peer’s rapid induction technique which takes about 5 minutes. You will be fully in control of your actions throughout the session. You will merely be in a deeply relaxed state similar to just before you go to sleep. In this state we can access your subconscious mind where the deep transformational work will occur. I will then regress you to 3 scenes from your past which your subconscious mind will identify as being the root cause of your issue.

Various tools and techniques will be used to uncover the meaning attached to those scenes and understand what limiting beliefs they created in you. We will then flip the meaning attached to those beliefs and use powerful language to erase and eradicate those old behaviours and beliefs. This will be followed by the transformation part which will be where positive empowering suggestions will be presented to your subconscious mind to form new empowering beliefs. This will form your bespoke personalised hypnosis recording which you must make every effort to listen to at least once a day for 21 days. This is part of the therapy and is a crucial aspect in how effective the therapy is.

What if there are parts of my past I do not want to go back to?

It is very often that the issues that you are struggling with today could well be related to deep rooted issues from the very scenes in your past that you want to avoid facing again. If the feelings and the meaning attached to those painful scenes has not been dealt with then this can often cause years of buried pain which manifests in so many different ways until the root cause is identified and dealt with.

Please bear in mind that you will always be made to feel safe during the session and if anything comes up that is traumatic for you then it is important to remember you are just reviewing the scenes as if watching a movie and NOT reliving them. I will guide you quickly away from the scene if it appears to be too traumatic or upsetting for you but I will always encourage you to let out any emotion as this has likely been stored all this time and can be an amazingly healing part of the process.

What happens after the RTT?

You will receive a 15-20 minute personalised hypnosis recording which you must listen to daily for 21 days to wire in the new beliefs.

I will contact you the day after your session and around day 7 to check in with you. This will usually be via email or text.

You will then have a follow up appointment at around day 21 which is usually around 15 minutes long to assess your progress. At this stage if it’s felt that you may benefit from a further session/s then we will discuss this then.
